We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Publication Sales Head to lead and expand our book distribution channels across India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales, building offline distribution channels, executing marketing strategies, and building strong relationships with authors and faculties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Distribution Channel Expansion:
- Develop and grow offline distribution channels by onboarding distributors and sellers nationwide.
- Lead and manage a team of salespersons, including 3P sales.
- Market Research & Competitor Analysis:
- Conduct market research to identify opportunities for new book launches.
- Analyze competitors to determine the best timing, pricing, and planning for new publications.
- Inventory Management:
- Forecast sales trends to manage book inventory effectively.
- Ensure optimal stock levels to meet demand fluctuations.
- Sales Promotions & Online Growth:
- Strategize and implement discount structures to boost sales.
- Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Coordinate with various teams and course categories to ensure smooth operational alignment.

- Proven experience in sales management within the publication industry.
- Strong understanding of market research, competitor analysis, and inventory management.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to lead and inspire a sales team.
