Position Overview: We are seeking a seasoned and dynamic Marketing and Sales Head to lead our team in the exhibition industry. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in generating leads, driving business growth, and managing multiple marketing departments. This role demands a strategic leader who can handle team management, develop and implement effective marketing strategies, and ensure successful execution of sales plans.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning and Execution:
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing and sales strategies to achieve business objectives.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for growth and expansion.
- Create and manage budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics to ensure financial goals are met.
Lead Generation and Business Development:
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships.
- Develop strategies for lead generation and conversion to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Utilize various channels such as networking, digital marketing, and industry events to generate high-quality leads.
Sales Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve and surpass sales goals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Develop and oversee the implementation of effective sales processes and best practices.
Marketing Management:
- Manage the company's brand presence and ensure consistent messaging across all marketing platforms.
- Utilize data analytics to measure the effectiveness of marketing efforts and adjust strategies as needed.
Event Management:
- Oversee the planning and execution of exhibitions and trade shows to maximize brand exposure and lead generation.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure successful event delivery.
- Analyse event performance and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing marketing and sales team.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service and support.
- Develop customer retention strategies and loyalty programs.
- Handle escalated customer issues and provide solutions promptly.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 6 to 8 years of experience in marketing and sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the exhibition industry.
- Proven track record of generating leads and achieving sales targets.
- Strong understanding of marketing principles, digital marketing, and brand management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think strategically and creatively.
- Proficiency in CRM software and other sales/marketing tools.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
