- Roles and Responsibilities:
Develop and Lead Strategic Sales Plan: Build and execute a well-researched strategy to achieve ambitious sales targets and quarterly profit margins, aligning with Elchemy's Vision, Mission, Values, and cross-functional business goals.
- Lead the Sales Team: Set revenue targets for self and for the sales team in alignment with the company's goals and vision. Mentor & build the sales team, foster a high-performance culture, and use sales data to drive accountability, results, and continuous improvement.
Expand Markets and Drive Growth
: Identify and create new business opportunities globally, with a focus on markets such as the US, Europe, and the Middle East in key industries like Personal Care, Flavor & Fragrance, Oil & Gas, and other specialty chemicals. Build and leverage international networks within the chemical industry to fastrack these efforts.Enhance Key Account Portfolio:
Strengthen relationships with existing customers, generate repeat business, and expand the key accounts business.Prospect, Negotiate, and Manage Client Relationships: Conduct research on potential prospects, negotiate contracts, and manage client relationships to drive business growth and ensure high customer satisfaction rate.
- Sales Reporting and Data-Driven Decision Making: Provide regular sales performance, MIS and market condition reports to the executive team, using data analytics to guide decisions and refine strategies.
- Skills and Qualifications:
Over 15+ years of experience in international sales in the chemical distribution industry with a proven track record in exports.
- Highly driven, ambitious, and passionate about chemical sales. Self-motivated, dedicated, and committed to achieving success.
Preferred qualities include entrepreneurial mindset, strong techno-commercial acumen, excellent networking skills, ownership, commitment, strong People Management and high emotional intelligence.- An educational background in chemistry/chemicals ad/or an MBA is preferable (but not a must)
