Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Head of Sales. The Head of Sales will be responsible for managing and leading the sales team, developing and implementing sales strategies, and driving revenue growth. The role involves building and maintaining relationships with key accounts, analyzing market trends and competition, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve sales targets.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years B2B SaaS Sales experience
  • 2+ years in a closing role for anywhere between $1k-50k deal size
  • Sales and Sales Management skills
  • Experience at a hyper-growth startup (Seed or Series A not necessary, but is a plus)
  • Analytical Skills for market analysis and sales forecasting
  • Experience in Account Management
  • Team Management skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and remotely
  • Experience in the Conversational AI or Customer Service industry is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field

The ideal candidate showcases:

  • High agency(https://www.youtube.com/watchv=U8srC2ivSJw). You will be building, creating, discovering, exploring, structuring. Not just executing. This means autonomy, ownership, and proactivity will be critical for this role alongside being highly likable, confident, and coachable. You will not wear many hats. You will own the hat store.
  • A scrappy builder mentality: You'll partner closely with the CEO as you onboard and help develop the entire GTM motion. We're looking for self-starters who want to get their hands dirty and bring their expertise to the table to build an A+ GTM motion
  • An always-learning mindset: You aren't afraid to critique yourself and are always looking to learn and get better

You'll partner closely with Founders to:

  • Take over SMB sales. This entails taking the rough playbook created by our founder when selling 1-2 seat deals between $200-$1,000 per month. Low ticket - high volume sales. You will need to codify the playbook, improve it, and make it unbreakable and repeatable
  • Help lay the groundwork for an amazing GTM culture
  • Refine pitch & messaging
  • Explore marketing and branding efforts to drive inbound
  • Explore new ways of improving Dexy for our own outbound and for our customers
  • Help develop and create the next sales playbook for larger enterprise accounts. $4k/mo to $20k/mo contracts. You will eventually move from SMB sales to these enterprise sales, so a background in both is highly encouraged.
