Job Title: Head of Purchasing - India
Location: Bagmane Tech Park, Bangalore (Hybrid)
Years of Experience: 10 to 15 years
Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead and develop Purchasing activities for India
- Directly manage the Head of site purchasing, Bangalore.
- Support the purchasing commodity teams, project teams & supplier development teams in collaboration with the reginal leadership teams
- Lead all site purchasing related projects
- Lead sourcing strategy activities for unique suppliers
- Lead the Purchasing region KPI / objectives in alignment with the CE Purchasing KPI / objectives
- Give input / manage supplier selection / relationship / partnership /negotiation in dialogue with all heads of regional commodities, PPD Project and supplier Development
- Secure the production capacity at our suppliers within the site with monitor and regularly follow up
- Ensure common structure and working methods
- Ensure the ISO and Code of Conduct Compliance for the Purchasing team
- Support to recover warranty cost from suppliers
- Support VCE initiatives impacting locally
