As EPC Head, incumbent will be part of senior leadership team of the organisations and will be responsible for leading a cross functional team ranging from Design, Project Management, Contracts & Procurement with an eye on Budget & Costing for Ultra luxurious residential projects company is developing. You would be responsible for managing the entire life-cycle of the project, right from conceptualisation to completion of project/s.
Some key responsibilities for the role are as follows:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Planning: Work closely with Architects (In-house as well as Global Design Consulting firms), Engineers, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- and Regulatory Compliance: Leading a team responsible for liasioning & obtaining necessary approvals.
- Management: Develop and manage the project budget, including tracking expenses, forecasting costs, and implementing cost-saving measures where possible.
- Management: Negotiate critical contracts with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors, and manage these contracts throughout the project life-cycle.
- Scheduling: Create and maintain project schedules, ensuring that tasks are completed on time and within budget constraints.
- Control: Implement quality control measures to ensure that workmanship and materials meet industry standards and client expectations.
- Management: Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, such as implementing safety protocols and securing insurance coverage.
- Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for all stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies, and ensure clear and effective communication throughout the project.
- Solving: Address any issues or conflicts that arise during the project, finding practical solutions to keep the project on track.
- Oversight: Oversee all construction activities, conducting regular site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure that work is being performed according to plans and specifications.
- Activities: Coordinate final inspections, obtain certificates of occupancy, and ensure a smooth transition to the client or property management team
- Management Manage internal & external stakeholders while working closely with core leadership team
The successful candidate will possess:
- degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- 20+ years of total work experience with a proven track record of delivering multiple ultra luxury residential projects.
- leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
- negotiation skills and the ability to manage costs effectively while maintaining quality standards.
- in MS Project software or similar project management tools for project planning and scheduling.
- communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
