Job Summary:
The Production Head will manage daily production operations, focusing on quality, efficiency, and adherence to custom orders. You will work closely with our design team to translate creative concepts into finished products while ensuring the highest quality standards. This role requires hands-on involvement in managing a small production team, sourcing materials, and maintaining relationships with local artisans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the end-to-end production process for custom wedding products, including planning, scheduling, and quality control.
- Coordinate with the design team to ensure accurate translation of concepts to finished products, maintaining consistency with Pataaree's brand aesthetics.
- Manage a small team of artisans and craftsmen, overseeing workload distribution and ensuring timelines are met.
- Source and manage relationships with local suppliers for materials, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
- Ensure all products meet quality specifications and Pataaree's craftsmanship standards before dispatch.
- Monitor stock levels for essential materials and manage reordering to prevent delays.
- Continuously improve production processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs without compromising quality.
- Conduct regular training sessions for artisans to enhance skills in crafting, finishing, and quality control.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience: 3+ years in production management within a small to mid-sized handcrafted or custom product business.
- Education: Degree in Production Management, Arts, Fashion, or a related field preferred.
- Experience working with artisans or small teams in a craft-focused environment.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple orders with custom specifications efficiently.
- Familiarity with small-scale production processes, materials, and quality assurance techniques.
- Effective communicator who can work collaboratively with design and sales teams to meet customer expectations.
- Hands-on experience with materials like fabric, wood, and metal for hand-crafted products is a plus.
