Team Lead / Head of Product Development Electrification

As a member of an international development organization, You're building up and guiding a development team for electrification in a system integration environment for Marine, Offshore and Process Industry. The Electrification Solutions are part of our integral Electrification, Automation and Digital solutions, which require Know How and background in the respective domains.

This includes development contribution in the AC and DC power grid integration including the respective Power- and Energy Management System to monitor and control the grid. System concepts with hybrid power plants and simulation will support our growth strategy. Execution of R&D projects with piloting in the first customer projects includes all technical documentation. Effective communication with the international team is a crucial aspect of your role, and your goal is to guide the development contribution of high-quality software that meets the needs of the SE industry.

• Build up and Lead an integrated electrification development team.
• Support the team with your expertise in AC and DC power grids and your additional know how in power and energy management
• Coach the development team
• Create/support a team spirit with your peers in the global setup
• Drive efficiency in the development
• Ability to communicate clearly and precisely, both written and verbally, at all levels of the organization
• Ability to work in a flexible, multi-functional, team-based, development environment that is comprised of both local Siemens Energy Engineers and 3rd party consultants/contractors.

We don't need superheroes, just super minds:

• Master or equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent knowledge
• A strategic leader with a proven track record in management, demonstrating a keen interest in leadership and people development
• 10+ years of experience in developing and deploying software applications
• Experienced in Electrification solutions
• Domain Know How in certain industrial applications

• Experienced in working in international development teams
