Head of Procurement for a leading industrial park developer

Reporting to the Head of Development & Construction you will be responsible for:

• Creation of a centralised contracts and procurement system for an extensive project portfolio that encapsulates direct and indirect feedback loops for accountability, reliability and integrity.
• Developing standards for contracts, including presentation of budget, payment terms, general language and provisions.
• Conducting contract strategy meetings to identify issues and client requirements, facilitate pricing discussions, and obtain senior management input on timelines and deliverables.
• Assuring accuracy and appropriateness of contract text and attachments
• Multi department interface with internal design and costing teams, project construction teams, intercompany departments such as legal and finance.
• Establishing relationships and strategic identification and assessment of specialized contractors and subcontractors for project engagement.
• Preparation, administration, negotiation and coordination of execution of construction contracts, consultant agreements, purchase and supply agreements and all binding requirements for large scale construction projects Pan-India.
• Prepare and interface with key suppliers and vendors within India and internationally for the preparation of supply agreements and purchase agreements in conjunction with procurement alliance agreements.
• Developing and implementing strategies for the effective negotiation and management of strategic contracts and suppliers.
• Developing, implementing and monitoring the procurement strategy, policy and procedures for an addressable spend in the region for direct and Indirect categories
