Responsibilities:
Managing both the operations process, embracing design, planning, control, performance
improvement, and operations strategy.
Develop, implement and review operational policies and procedures including strategy
document and annual operation plan. Oversee budgeting, reporting, planning, and
auditing across the channels and locations under Individual Giving function.
Collaboration with other functional areas within the organisation whose roles have an
impact on operations. Such areas include marketing, finance, accounting etc.
Identify and address problems and opportunities for the organisation.
Build alliances and partnerships with other organizations.
Ensure all legal and regulatory documents are filed and monitor compliance with laws and
regulations.
Ensuring an effective and low-cost resource management - which includes off role
employees and the vendors/agencies associated with the various functions of Individual
giving departments, asset management - which includes smooth functioning of call
centers, field staff and backend staff and cost management - without compromising on
the quality and deadlines.
Contribute to the development and integration of new processes as appropriate.
Network with organisation's International vertical to share ideas and leverage best practice
Experience
Minimum 9 years of experience in operations profile including management of operation
management for at least 5 years.
Relevant experience of vendor management and cost management with a proven record
of accomplishments.
Skills
Ability to manage cost without compromising on quality through efficient operations
management.
Working knowledge of general finance and budgeting, including profit and loss, balance
sheet and cash flow management.
Ability to build consensus and relationships among managers, partners, and employees.
Understanding of necessary legal and regulatory documents.
Solid understanding of MS office applications and financial management.
Self-motivated, mentally strong leader with an ability to inspire team members and keep
the team together.
