Responsibilities
- Develop and communicate a clear vision and strategic roadmap for the operations department aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
- Lead the development and implementation of operational strategies to drive business growth and enhance operational efficiency.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization across all areas of operations, including supply chain management, logistics, manufacturing, and quality control.
- Oversee and manage all aspects of factory operations, ensuring smooth and efficient production, Packing and Delivery processes.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to optimize supply chain efficiency and minimize lead times.
- Manage import and export operations, including tasks such as documentation management, customs clearance, and related activities.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards.
- Develop and implement effective logistics strategies to streamline the supply chain, including inbound and outbound logistics.
- Coordinate the transportation of products, equipment, and materials.
- Collaborate with suppliers and distributors to improve delivery schedules and reduce costs.
- Monitor production schedules and work closely with the Floor Manager and guide him to meet targets and quality standards.
- Lead and mentor a team of Floor Managers, Supervisors, Floor workers, and other operational staff.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning within the operations team.
- Set performance objectives, conduct regular performance evaluations, and provide constructive feedback.
- Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of company stores, ensuring a clean, organized, and customer-friendly environment.
- Oversee and ensure the managers coordinate with maintenance personnel to address repairs, renovations, and other facility-related needs.
- Manage the end-to-end execution of work, from inception to delivery, in alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Sales, and project team, to define project requirements and timelines.
- Prioritize tasks and allocate resources effectively to ensure timely project delivery.
- Monitor progress, identify potential roadblocks, and proactively address challenges to keep projects on track.
- Collaborate with suppliers and distributors to improve delivery schedules and reduce costs.
- Introduce lean manufacturing methodologies such as 5S and Kaizen to streamline operations.
- Manage operational budgets and monitor expenditures, implementing cost-saving initiatives.
- Establish basic KPIs such as production output, scrap rates, and delivery performance.
