Desired Candidate Profile 40 years + in age, the nurse with experience of handling geriatric patients, psychiatric nursing, clinical psychologist and expertise in leading the team of shift nurses
M.Sc Nursing with 10 years of experience in Geriatric care
Candidate should be disciplined and high on integrity
Should not be temperamental and thorough in man management skills
He / She should be sound in visitor management and resident relatives handling
He / She should be excellent in written and verbal communication skills
Should be strong in administrative skills
He / She should be with sound family background and close staying near the Care home
Should be creative in approach
Sound record keeping and inventory management
Should be well articulate in English both written and spoken
Should be technically sound
Should have adequate knowledge of geriatric disorders
Should be a strong manager of base level staff
Should have empathy and not shirk outdoor work like going on a visit, take a resident for check up and or hospital in emergency for treatment and admission
Ability to effectively talk to elders and family members
Strong documentation and record keeping skills
Ability to bind the team and members of Admin wing like Housekeeping, servers and cooks
Be able to adjust schedule based on requirement at site
Adjust to work needs
Be in a position to shift close to care home and able to come at odd hours
