Job Opportunity: Head of Media Relations

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive media relations strategies to enhance brand visibility and reputation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key media contacts, journalists, and influencers.
- Manage all media communications, including press releases, media kits, and press conferences.
- Serve as the primary spokesperson for the company, representing the brand in all media interactions.
- Monitor media coverage and industry trends to inform strategic communications decisions.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, public relations, and senior management, to ensure consistent messaging.
- Handle crisis communication and manage the company's response to media inquiries during critical situations.
- Oversee media training for key executives and spokespersons.
- Track and analyze media coverage metrics to measure the effectiveness of media relations efforts.
- Organize and manage media events, product launches, and other public relations activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
- Proven experience in a senior media relations role, preferably within the FMCG industry.
- Strong network of media contacts and a deep understanding of the media landscape.
- Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in crisis communication and media training is a plus.
- Proficiency in media monitoring and PR tools.
