To spur our intrinsic growth, we are looking for a Head of Growth & Marketing Moneycontrol, based out of our Mumbai office. Moneycontrol is amongst the fastest growing digital business platform in India and is ranked globally amongst the Top 15 digital media subscriptions.
Key responsibilities:
Strategic Marketing Leadership
- Lead the development and execution of an integrated marketing strategy that aligns with Moneycontrol s mission and objectives, with a sharp focus on growth, user acquisition, and retention.
- Drive impactful brand positioning efforts to establish Moneycontrol as a trusted, innovative leader in financial news, data, and fintech solutions, enhancing our standing in the BFSI market.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Sales, and Editorial teams to ensure cohesive marketing execution that advances key business goals and strengthens our footprint in BFSI and fintech.
Digital and Performance Marketing Excellence
- Head high-impact digital marketing campaigns across SEO, SEM, content marketing, email marketing, and social media, ensuring optimization for reach, engagement, and ROI.
- Harness data analytics to continually refine digital campaigns, using insights to maximize customer engagement and support brand growth.
- Define performance metrics to measure success across all marketing initiatives, emphasizing a data-driven approach to decision-making.
Brand Building and Reputation Management
- Develop and execute brand campaigns that uphold Moneycontrol s brand voice and amplify its position as a fintech and leader in financial news/data.
- Oversee PR, corporate communications, and media relations to maintain a positive brand presence and navigate market visibility effectively.
- Identify strategic partnerships, sponsorships, and events that extend brand exposure and drive meaningful user engagement.
Customer Insights and Market Intelligence
- Lead ongoing market and competitive research to identify emerging trends, user behaviour shifts, and new growth opportunities.
- Leverage customer insights and analytics to tailor marketing strategies, enhance the customer experience, and provide strategic input for product development.
- Utilize data-backed insights to refine audience segmentation, driving targeted campaigns that resonate with diverse user profiles.
Leadership and Team Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and high standards.
- Establish and manage budgets for the marketing department, ensuring that resources are efficiently allocated to achieve business objectives.
- Drive the development of a talent pipeline within the marketing function, ensuring the team remains at the forefront of industry trends and best practices.
Qualification:
- Experience: 12-15 years in senior marketing roles with a strong background in the BFSI and fintech sectors, combined with deep experience in digital, branding, and performance marketing. A solid track record within the fintech or BFSI sector is highly preferred.
- Domain Expertise: Demonstrated expertise in brand building and marketing strategy with proven success in driving growth, brand visibility and market positioning.
- Leadership & Vision: Strong leadership abilities with a strategic mindset, adept at translating complex business objectives into actionable and impactful marketing initiatives.
- Digital & Analytical Acumen: Deep understanding of digital marketing channels, performance metrics, and data analytics to inform and optimize marketing strategies.
- Education: MBA or equivalent advanced degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
