We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Marketing Officer to join our leadership team. The CMO will play a pivotal role in scaling our brand, building a high-performing marketing function, and driving growth across the startup ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy to position India Accelerator as a top-tier accelerator in the startup ecosystem, competing with global leaders such as Sequoia Capital and Peak XV.
Brand Building: Elevate brand awareness through thought leadership, content marketing, public relations, and high-impact storytelling that resonates with founders, investors, and corporate partners.
Startup Ecosystem Engagement: Engage with the startup community, venture capitalists, and founders to identify key marketing opportunities and create strategic partnerships.
Growth Marketing: Drive demand generation initiatives to attract high-potential startups and investors to join India Accelerators programs and portfolio.
Team Leadership: Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing marketing team that can scale with the growth of the organization.
Digital & Performance Marketing: Oversee digital marketing initiatives, including paid media, SEO, content marketing, and analytics, to ensure measurable growth in engagement and reach.
Investor Relations: Collaborate with the investment team to craft compelling narratives and materials for engaging potential investors, venture partners, and limited partners (LPs).
Market Insights: Stay up to date with trends in venture capital, technology, and the startup ecosystem, leveraging insights to inform marketing strategies and campaigns.
Qualifications
Experience in the Startup Ecosystem: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in marketing leadership roles within the startup, venture capital, or tech ecosystem.
Understanding of Investments: Strong understanding of the venture capital landscape and the dynamics of startup investments.
Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in scaling marketing teams and driving brand growth in competitive markets.
Strategic & Analytical: A strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market data and use insights to drive marketing innovation.
Leadership & Communication: Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work closely with founders, partners, and investors.
Education: Bachelors degree in marketing, business, or a related field. MBA or other advanced degrees are preferred.
