About Amaha

Amaha was founded in 2016 with the vision of making high-quality mental healthcare accessible to Indians and their families struggling with mental illness - so they can feel better, get better, and stay better.

We are a mental health organization that provides high-quality care to individuals and their families who are struggling with any and all kinds of mental illnesses. In order to cater to the varying mental health needs of Indians, Amaha offers an ecosystem of mental healthcare - that includes 1-1 support with qualified therapists and psychiatrists, self-care tools, as well as peer support through an online community. Amaha has a strong digital and offline presence - in addition to online care delivered on our website and app, we provide in-person treatment and support through our centers in Delhi, Mumbai, and Bangalore.

Amaha also partners with various types of organizations - including workplaces, colleges, and insurance partners - in order to extend mental healthcare to their members.

In 2022, Amaha joined hands with Children First, an organization based out of Delhi that offers mental healthcare to children and youth, in order to be able to provide care across the lifespan - from childhood to old age.

Dr. Amit Malik, founder and CEO of Amaha, has over two decades of experience working in mental health globally and brings his clinical and entrepreneurial expertise to the table. In 2019, Ms. Neha Kirpal, a social entrepreneur and global mental health ambassador, joined Amaha as Co-founder and brings her lived experience insights to the organization.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Head of Marketing with 10+ years of experience in building and scaling in the D2C space. You will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy to increase brand awareness, drive user acquisition and retention, and grow revenue. This role will report directly to the CEO. Prior 0-1 and healthtech experience is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic marketing plans for brand awareness, user acquisition, engagement, and branding initiatives. Oversee integrated campaigns across digital, social, and content channels, ensuring brand coherence and connecting with the customers
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify consumer insights, market trends, and competitive landscapes
  • Define the voice of the brand - identify messaging, positioning and visual identity that resonates with target audiences and differentiates us from the competition
  • Design and implement multi-channel marketing campaigns encompassing SEO, SEM, content marketing, social media marketing, email marketing, influencer marketing, ATL/BTL, events and marketing automation
  • Manage and optimize paid advertising campaigns (PPC, social media ads) to drive high-quality traffic and leads. Identify and build organic growth opportunities
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of marketing initiatives (e.g., brand awareness, website traffic, leads generated). Regularly report on marketing performance and make data-driven recommendations for optimization
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, content, design, and customer success teams to ensure alignment and integration of marketing initiatives with business objectives
  • Manage marketing budgets, allocate resources effectively, and optimize spend to achieve business goals and targets
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing marketing team, providing guidance, coaching, and support to drive professional growth and development

Skills And Qualifications

  • MBA in Marketing, or a related field from a tier 1 institute
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in consumer-first Marketing roles with at least 6 years in a senior leadership role and with a focus on branding and performance marketing
  • High degree of conceptual understanding of brand building and marketing
  • Possesses exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a creative bend
  • Exhibits excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels, promoting collaboration and a positive work environment
  • Demonstrates strong leadership and team management capabilities to guide and develop the marketing team, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives
  • Demonstrated ability to foster a respectful and empathetic work environment, valuing diverse perspectives and promoting inclusivity
