Pashupati Capital Services (PCS) is a registered stockbroker. We are seeking an experienced IT Head for our Mumbai location.
Responsibilities:
- Establish infrastructure architecture frameworks, maintenance standards, policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Responsible for the entire infrastructure management and operations across all the technologies, including Servers (LINUX), Networks, Cloud, and Security
- Formulate overall IT Infrastructure strategy and management over the IT Infrastructure division.
- Responsible for coordinating with third-party service providers, software vendors, exchanges for BAU and new projects
- Establish an infrastructure support framework for the system and network across change management, availability management, capacity management, asset management, and configuration management.
- Ensure the infrastructure solutions meet functional and technical requirements with design and planning for future maintenance, cost, performance scalability, and compliance.
- Optimize trading hardware and operating system for low latency trading (Analyzing latency in the network and server is critical to this role).
- Design/Implement/Maintain optimal network and systems architectureManage/Upgrade/Install all servers/switches at exchange (NSE) colocation
- Lead the team members to resolve bottlenecks, weaknesses, restrictions, and security concerns on an ongoing basis
- Lead the team on new infrastructure and support projects with smooth delivery and implementation, matching the requirements and expectations.
Qualifications:
- 7yr+ experience working in IT department of a stockbroker (HFT preferred)
- Engineering degree from a recognized university
- Comprehensive knowledge of Linux-based OS (Analyzing, Optimizing and Maintaining)
- Experience with low latency switches/NICs and a general broader understanding of latency-based problem-solving at HFTs
- Pre-knowledge and server maintenance experience at NSE colocation
- Passion for problem-solving with a track record
