One of our portfolio company in Mumbai is scaling rapidly and are recruiting for Head of HR to lead their people strategy and operations. This role will play an important role in enabling business growth, shaping the culture, driving talent acquisition, and partnering with our founder to build a high-performance, people-first organization.
Position Overview:
You will oversee all HR functionstalent acquisition, employee experience, performance management, learning & development, and HR operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the founder and leadership team to develop and execute the HR strategy aligned with long term organizational goals.
- Thought leadership on people strategies, organizational design, and workforce planning.
- Lead end-to-end talent acquisition efforts, from defining roles to hiring top talent at all levels.
- Build and promote the employer brand to attract and retain high-caliber talent in a competitive market.
- Develop and implement performance management frameworks that align with the company's objectives and foster a high-performance culture.
- Design initiatives that promote employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
- Oversee learning and development initiatives to ensure continuous upskilling and leadership development.
- Design and implement competitive compensation and benefits packages that attract and retain top talent.
- Lead HR compliance and ensure policies are aligned with legal standards and best practices.
- Oversee HR operations, including payroll, compliance, and HRIS management.
- Implement efficient HR processes and systems that support the company's rapid growth and scale.
- Monitor key HR metrics to provide insights and drive data-driven decision-making.
Must-Haves:
- Proven experience of leading HR in a fast-growing startup, ideally at a Series B/C stage.
- A strategic thinker with the ability to execute hands-on, especially in a rapidly changing environment.
- Ability to partner with founders and senior leadership teams to align HR strategy with business goals.
- Expertise in talent acquisition, organizational design, and building high-performance teams.
- Experience driving cultural transformation, fostering inclusion, and creating a people-first environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
