Job overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of People & Culture to lead our human resources initiatives with a primary focus on Recruitment and Learning & Development (L&D). This role will be pivotal in shaping the organization's talent strategy and fostering a culture of continuous learning and development. While Recruitment and L&D are core functions, the Head of People & Culture will also oversee and provide strategic guidance on broader HR operations as a secondary responsibility.
This position is based in Bengaluru, with frequent travel to Coimbatore, where the company's Head Office (HO) and R&D Centre is located.

What will you do (Responsibilities):
1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition:
Develop and execute talent acquisition strategies to attract top talent aligned with the organization's culture and goals.
Lead workforce planning, ensuring alignment with organizational needs and strategic objectives.
Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle, including job postings, sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
Build and maintain employer branding initiatives to position the organization as an employer of choice.
Establish and maintain strong recruitment metrics to evaluate hiring efficiency and quality.
Take direct ownership of end-to-end recruitment for senior-level and leadership positions, including sourcing, engaging, assessing, and onboarding.
2. Learning & Development (L&D):
Design, implement, and manage comprehensive L&D programs tailored to organizational and individual growth needs.
Identify skills gaps and create targeted training solutions to enhance employee performance.
Champion leadership development programs to nurture high-potential talent.
Monitor the effectiveness of training programs and measure ROI on L&D initiatives.
Foster a learning culture that encourages innovation, collaboration, and career growth.
Secondary Responsibilities
1. HR Operations & Strategy:
Provide strategic direction and oversight for HR operations, including performance management, compensation, benefits, and compliance.
Develop and implement policies that promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
Support conflict resolution, employee relations, and grievance handling processes.
Ensure HR compliance with applicable labor laws and regulations.
2. Organizational Development & Culture Building:
Drive initiatives to strengthen employee engagement and retention.
Partner with leadership to align people's strategies with business goals.
Act as a steward of organizational culture, ensuring alignment with core values.
What do we need (Requirements):
Education: Master's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree or certifications (e.g., SHRM, CIPD) preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of 8 years and Maximum of 15 Years in HR with at least 5 years in a leadership role, focusing on Recruitment and Learning & Development.
Proven expertise in recruiting Sales, Marketing, and Business Development professionals at all levels, especially for high-demand and competitive markets.
Demonstrated ability to design and implement targeted recruitment strategies for revenue-generating roles.
Experience managing end-to-end hiring processes, including talent pipeline building, candidate engagement, and retention.
Proven track record of setting up HR operations and processes in a dynamic startup environment, including talent acquisition, policy development, and performance systems.
Strong understanding of L&D frameworks and the ability to deliver impactful training and career development programs.
Familiarity with HR best practices, tools, and technologies, with a focus on applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment analytics.
