Summary
The Global Supply Chain Head will be a key strategic leader overseeing and optimizing the end-to-end supply chain operations for a $2.5B global organization with 200 locations. This role will drive the development and execution of a comprehensive global supply chain strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and maximizing efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
Supply Chain Strategy:
- Develop and implement a global supply chain strategy that supports the organization's growth and profitability objectives
- Collaborate with business presidents, finance VPs, and other senior leaders to align supply chain strategies with overall business goals
- Identify and implement process improvements, technology solutions, and best practices to optimize supply chain performance
- Lead the development and execution of supply chain transformation initiatives
Global Data Analytics Center of Excellence (CoE) Establishment:
- CoE to develop and monitor key performance indicators to track supply chain performance across all regions
- CoE to lead the maturation and centralization of the global data analytics team, ensuring data-driven decision-making
- CoE to leverage data analytics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement
- CoE to develop and implement predictive analytics models to anticipate and mitigate supply chain disruptions
Global Energy Management:
- Drive the organization's global renewable energy and GHG reduction strategy, including the establishment of power purchase agreements and incorporation of renewable generating assets
- Develop and implement energy management strategies to optimize energy consumption and reduce costs
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to promote sustainable supply chain practices
- Manage energy spend for the organization's major manufacturing sites, approximately $40MM USD
Team Leadership & Collaboration:
- Provide dotted-line leadership and guidance to supply chain directors across all regions
- Lead and develop a high-performing team
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the supply chain organization
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
