Overview:
The Finance Head will be responsible for overseeing all financial and accounting activities of the
company. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills who can manage financial
record-keeping, planning, budgeting, and reporting.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations of the company,
including liaising with our external accounting firm (vCFO service provider) for ensuring the accuracy of
bookkeeping, defining critical financial processes, preparing financial MIS, financial planning, and key
stakeholder reporting. The candidate will play a critical role in maintaining the financial health of the
organization.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to stakeholders.
- Develop and monitor the annual budget in collaboration with department heads.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Prepare financial forecasts and variance analyses.
- Oversee cash flow planning and management.
- Identify and manage financial risks and opportunities.
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls.
- Serve as a key point of contact for investors, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
Qualifications and Attributes:
- CA, CFA, or MBA Finance from a Tier I or Tier II School
- 3-5 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in financial modelling and analysis.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
- Strategic thinker with a proactive approach.
