Financial Management
Oversee the financial operations of the company, including accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting.
Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures tailored to the improvement of the companies standard.
Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial forecasting.
Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to senior management and stakeholders.
Strategic Planning
Develop financial plans that support the company's strategic objectives.
Provide financial insights and analysis to support business decisions.
Participate in strategic business planning and provide financial guidance to the executive team.
Risk Management
Identify and mitigate financial risks.
Ensure compliance with Indian financial regulations, standards, and tax laws.
Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Budgeting And Forecasting
Lead the annual budgeting process and quarterly forecasting.
Monitor and analyse budget variances.
Provide recommendations for cost management and efficiency improvements.
Financial Reporting
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with accounting standards.
Ensure compliance with statutory reporting requirements, including GST, income tax, and other regulatory filings.
Coordinate with external auditors and manage the audit process.
Team Leadership
Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounting team.
Foster a culture of high performance, continuous improvement, and teamwork.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide professional development opportunities.
Stakeholder Management
Liaise with investors, banks, and other financial institutions.
Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies.
Communicate financial performance and strategy to stakeholders.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
Professional certifications such as CA (Chartered Accountant) is a must.
Experience
Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance and accounting roles.
At least 5 years in a senior leadership position, preferably within the trading industry in India.
We are okay with retired candidates also who have had extensive knowledge.
Strong knowledge of Indian financial management, accounting principles, and financial reporting standards.
Excellent strategic planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in financial software and ERP systems.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
