Job Description

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Head of Finance to join Dodo Payments leadership team. This role will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, including global accounting, tax strategy, and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Global Accounting: Oversee all accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with international accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP).
  • Tax Planning: Lead global tax strategy, optimizing the company's tax position across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Compliance Management: Ensure adherence to financial regulations and reporting requirements in all operating countries.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports and forecasts to the leadership team and board of directors.
  • Cash Flow Management: Optimize cash flow and manage relationships with investors, banks, and financial partners.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks, implementing robust internal controls and processes.
  • Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing global finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • M&A Support: Provide financial expertise for potential mergers, acquisitions, or fundraising activities.
  • Systems Optimization: Implement and maintain financial systems and tools to support the company's global operations and growth.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 2-5 years of progressive finance experience, preferably in B2B SaaS or fintech
  • Education: Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or MBA; CA/CPA or equivalent certification required
  • Global Expertise: Extensive knowledge of international accounting principles, tax laws, and regulatory environments
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial modeling, ERP systems, and data analytics tools
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to translate complex financial data into actionable business insights
  • Leadership: Proven track record of building and managing high-performing teams across multiple geographies
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present to C-level executives and board members
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment
