We are looking for an experienced and driven Head of Digital to lead the growth function at STAGE and drive STAGE's customer acquisition. You will drive these metrics through (i) collaborating with the product team to improve the subscription and payment experience for customers (ii) working with the marketing team to design and execute bespoke marketing programs, and (iii) influencing the strategies of STAGE's product, content and marketing teams.
This is a highly matrixed role, requiring you to effectively influence other department heads and senior leaders in order to impact your area of accountability. To be successful, you will need to combine sharp business acumen, crystal clear strategic vision, deep understanding of the priorities of other teams, persuasive written and spoken communication, robust backbone to drive commitment in the face of resource constraints, and sound judgment on when to escalate.
What would you do
- Own the paid media channels Meta, Google etc and deliver monthly targets on customer acquisition with the CAC objectives
- Work with different stakeholders to create compelling communication and best in class collateral development
- Iterate with Creatives and messaging etc to drive efficient CACs and high CVRs
- Manage team of 3-4 marketing managers/analysts, invest in their upskilling and career growth
- Lead and manage all digital campaigns - from ideation to planning to optimization and performance analysis.
- Establish processes for monitoring, measurement and optimization through institutionalizing performance marketing metrics that correlate to business impact
- Manage the marketing budget to achieve monthly and annual customer acquisition targets.
- Oversee and direct paid advertising campaigns across various digital channels, including social media, search engines, and programmatic advertising.
- Continuously monitor and optimize ad campaigns to achieve and exceed key performance indicators (KPIs), such as ROAS and CAC.
- Analyze campaign performance data and provide actionable insights to improve ROI and drive efficiency.
- Lead A/B testing and experimentation with new ad creatives, copy, and targeting options to maintain a competitive edge.
- Collaborate closely with the content, marketing, and data analytics teams to ensure alignment with content releases, promotions, and data-driven decision-making.
- Stay at the forefront of industry trends, emerging advertising technologies, and competitor strategies to adapt and innovate as needed.
- Lead and manage all SEO/ASO initiatives to keep organic mix high and blended CAC in control.
Requirements
You should apply if you have :
- 6 - 9 years experience in performance marketing.
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Masters degree is preferred.
- Strong digital marketing skills across performance and brand marketing including search, content and social.
- Proven track record building SEO, Content Marketing strategy from scratch
- Thorough understanding and hands on experience of online marketing, audience targeting/segmentation, Web Analytics tools like Google Analytics, Appsflyer, Metabase, Clevertap etc.
- Detail-oriented, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and drive actionable recommendations.
