Job Summary:
DentalKart is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Digital Marketing to lead our marketing efforts and drive sales through our Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) website. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital marketing, e-commerce, and brand management. As the Head of Digital Marketing, you will be responsible for the P&L of the D2C business unit, developing and executing marketing strategies to achieve revenue goals, and expanding our customer base. You will also oversee the marketing of our private label dental brands through online channels and coordinate with other e-commerce marketplaces.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Marketing Leadership:
o Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to drive revenue growth through the D2C website.
o Lead the marketing team in creating and implementing effective digital marketing campaigns across various channels.
2. P&L Management:
o Own the P&L for the D2C business unit, ensuring profitability and growth.
o Monitor and analyze sales performance, adjusting strategies as needed to meet financial targets.
3. Brand Management:
o Enhance brand awareness and loyalty for DentalKart and its private label brands through online channels.
o Oversee brand positioning, messaging, and visual identity across all digital marketing channels.
4. Digital Marketing:
o Optimize the company's online presence through SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and content marketing.
o Utilize data analytics to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and make data-driven decisions.
5. E-commerce Optimization:
o Improve the user experience on the D2C website to increase conversion rates and customer satisfaction.
o Collaborate with the product and IT teams to implement website enhancements and new features.
6. Market Research and Analysis:
o Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and trends in the dental industry.
o Analyze competitor strategies and market conditions to stay ahead in the market.
7. Customer Acquisition and Retention:
o Develop and implement strategies to acquire new customers and retain existing ones.
o Manage customer relationship management (CRM) systems to enhance customer engagement.
8. Coordination with Sales Channels:
o Work closely with the sales team to ensure marketing efforts align with sales goals.
o Coordinate marketing activities with other e-commerce marketplaces like Amazon and Flipkart.
9. Team Leadership:
o Lead, mentor, and develop the marketing team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
o Ensure continuous learning and professional development within the team.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field alongwith an MBA.
10+ years of experience in marketing in a senior role, with a significant focus on e-commerce and D2C channels.
Proven track record of driving revenue growth and managing P&L.
Strong understanding of digital marketing tools and techniques.
Experience in the dental or healthcare industry is a plus.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
Proficiency in marketing software and tools, including CRM systems, Google Analytics, SEO/SEM tools, and social media platforms.
