Chief Data Office (CDO) - Global Technology Solutions at State Street has a mandate to deliver and govern Data Architecture and Technology programs across the firm . CDO is rolling out multiple initiatives and operating model changes to execute these initiatives and generate value for our internal and external clients.
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic data technology leader to lead the growth charter for our CDO organization
Role Summary & Role Description
As Head of Data Governance Platform Delivery , you will
- Provide delivery leadership to data governance technology solutions and adoption programs, involving Collibra Data Intelligence Catalog, Data Quality, Data Privacy, Data Entitlement implementations.
- Provide delivery leadership on adoption and coverage services, tracking and reporting policy adoption metrics across the firm.
- Strategically partner with various business units to understand current state Data Governance maturity and requirements, and design solutions and processes to help to enhance data management and governance health
- Work collaboratively with other IT functions like Cyber Security, Enterprise Architecture, Network Infrastructure and Platforms etc. to deliver cohesive and efficient solution delivery roadmaps
- Create and manage delivery roadmaps, risks and dependencies , track progress and remove hurdles to achieve OKRs and milestones. Communicate effectively and provide updates, inputs and thought leadership to CDO leadership across the globe
- Focus on talent management and retention; coach, mentor, and guide team members to create an engaged and growth-oriented team, including third party resources and consultants

Core/Must Have Skills
Solutions Delivery experience on Data Governance platforms (Collibra, Information Governance Catalog, Data Quality tools, data Privacy and Classification tools etc )
Demonstrated experience in leading and delivering data governance health measurement and reporting solutions using cloud-based data engineering solutions (AWS, Azure, Databricks, Snowflake), Tableau/PowerBI, following agile methodology in global operating environments
Clear understanding of dependencies and support requirements from various IT functions
Excellent communication and articulation skills, proven Stakeholder Management and strong executive presence
Fair understanding of Finance and Investment Management Industry, including Regulatory and Compliance requirements that apply to data management and operations
