Job Description
- Heading project execution functions
- System development including team formation, SOPs policies etc
- Optimisation of project cost reduction, improved time lines and enhancing product Quality
- Finalisation of structural MEP and BIM consultants
- Implementation of latest technology in construction
- Executing day to day contracts / commercial administration during execution stages and finally claims and arbitration management towards achieving the targeted financial objectives
- Steering the successful roll-out of projects operations entailing defining scope, setting timelines, analysing requirements, prioritizing task and identifying dependencies as per set budgets
- Supervising the scope of construction activities including providing technical inputs for methodologies of construction & coordinating with site management activities
- Implementing operational techniques for reduction in cycle time & identifying improvement opportunities and cost reduction measures to achieve substantial reduction in project expenditure
- Organising routine & periodical inspection for correct sequencing of various activities of construction and ensuring highest standards of quality and overlook the safety standards of site
- Developing method statements and weekly / monthly progress & reports including earned value, BOQ, techno-commercial bid, cost estimates (change & variation order, contractors claims & billing) and budgets
- Optimizing project resources to ensure cost effectiveness while maintaining high standards of quality and safety in accordance with client requirement and company policies
- Anchoring installation, erection & commissioning of equipment and ensuring completion of project in minimum turnaround with time effective resource utilization to maximize the output
- Establishing cost estimates and performing rate analysis for extra items; preparing comparative cost statement for contractors; calculating details of quantities for all items, and preparing material request
- Developing project baselines; monitoring and controlling projects with respect to cost, resource deployment, time overruns and quality compliance to ensure satisfactory execution of project
- Negotiation, coordination and direction work of subcontractors, and in developing strong working relationships with general contractor personnel, subcontractors, and other related parties.
- Consistent value engineering, interface for approval Laisoning, execution of project within time and contractual parameters, closing contract, team building, customer relationship, etc
- Assist the Senior Management in setting strategic goals, objectives and budgets
- Thorough understanding of the resource allocation and cross-departmental leveraging.
Qualifications and skills
- Relevant degree as Civil Engineer
- Proven experience in construction management
- Expert Knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards
- Familiarity with construction management software packages
- Competent in conflicts and crisis management
