Role & responsibilities
- With minimum 10 years experience heading the Accounts Department (Accounts, Taxation, ROCs, Budgeting, MIS system and Reporting), having knowledge of Finance
- Ensuring Statutory Compliances
- Supervise Accounting and compliances related work of individual accountants for real estate division & Finalisation of Accounts
- Meeting and guidance to the accounts staff to improve compliances and reporting
- Preparations periodical reports on financial compliances to the Management
- Ensure that internal checks, reconciliations and Internal Audits are conducted routinely, preferably as a pre-Audit to ensure that all accounting entries are correctly passed. Internal Audit should reveal comparison of expenses and report any unusual expenses
- Examine regularly if Procedures for Purchases, Procurement, Storage and Issue are followed and that records are timely updated
- Ensure that Assets Register is kept and updated regularly and lay down a system for verification of all Assets at least once a year
- Help the Auditors to complete Statutory and Tax Audits on time, supply all relevant information, such as Income & Expenses for reporting
- Prepare, review and file all Tax Returns on time (Income Tax, GST, TDS, PT, etc.)
- Review and file Annual Reports and other Documents required to be filed to MCA
- Any other work that is given by the Management
- Implementation of Internal Control System
- Candidate should have experience in the real estate space
