Vedanta's Sesa Goa Business produces Iron Ore, Pig Iron and Coke which caters to the requirements of Iron & Steel supply chain. Sesa Goa comprises of Iron Ore Goa, Iron Ore Karnataka, Iron Ore Odisha, Value Added Business, Sesa Cement, Sesa Coke - Gujarat & Maharashtra and WCL Liberia.

Position: Head Mine Planning - Sesa Goa

Location: Panaji - Goa

Key Accountabilities:

• Strategic Planning Execution and Target Attainment: Evaluate the effectiveness of translating long-term mine plans into actionable annual goals and achieving mining targets through refined grade control plans and ore output optimization.
• Operational Efficiency and Collaboration: Assess the impact of collaboration with mine operations teams on driving operational efficiency through monthly plan design and execution layouts.
• Innovative Ore Extraction and Dump Optimization: Measure success in innovating push-back designs for high-quality ore extraction with minimal stripping, and optimizing dump designs for space utilization and transportation efficiency.
• Regulatory Compliance and Safety Advocacy: Evaluate collaboration with regulatory bodies and government agencies to uphold industry standards, and advocacy for safety protocols including predictive evacuation plans for slope stability.
