Critical Skills & Personal Attributes
Expereince in materials and purchasing in heavy commercial auto sector.
Familiar with complete supply chain activities / cycle for both the requirements of Electric & LNG Vehicle.
He must be an expert in costing and part development.
He should have an idea of Import Process of Parts.
Good negotiation skills. Experience in working on SAP
Good commercial knowledge on INCOTERMS, LC, Bank Guarantee etc.
Good verbal and written communication skills
Good technical knowledge of various manufacturing processes in castings, forgings, machining, fabrication etc.
Good technical knowledge of various bought out items
Expetience on New Vendor Development & Vendor Management
Ability to collaborate effectively with various functional groups and other business units.
Main responsibility
Getting offers for various equipment from various vendors. Negotiation with vendors.
Preparation of Quotation Comparison Table and getting internal approvals.
Co-ordination for releaseing the purchase orders on various vendors.
Regular follow-up with vendors. New vendor development.
Co-ordinate with vendors & QC for completing the inspections and getting inspection reports.
Co-ordinate with vendors & logistics for dispatch of material from vendors end
Ensuring timely completion of the orders to meet set timeline for each order.
Budget controlling and reporting to COO.
Knowledge
Technical and Commercial knowledge of various equipment in cement plant
Familiar with various casting/forging/machining/fabrication process and cost related to it.
Various raw materials and its standards.
Knowledge for working on SAP. Knowledge of MS Projects, MS Power Point, MS Excel etc.
Various commercial clauses of the contracts. Knowledge on execution of LC & BG.
Decision making ability Systematic and focused in working
Hardworking, Sincere and Dedicted. Commercially strong and Multi-tasking
