JOB ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manages In-Country Revenue Management Small Package and Freight Forwarding.
Manages detailed analysis and development of local Revenue Management initiatives to accelerate profitable growth and thereby strengthen overall market position in small package and freight forwarding in the country.
Structures and enhances revenue management process and procedures to accelerate profitable growth for small package.
Optimizes contract administration for the non-strategic accounts to ensure profitable growth for country.
Develops, reviews and implements procedures to continuously improve timely and accurate pricing.
Maintains an audit compliance process to ensure compliance guidelines are met.
Manages the pricing process within the enterprise guidelines and to support local growth expectations.
Manages In-Country Planning & Opportunity
Drive Digital Marketing engagement to ensure effective customer relationship and programs are deployed.
Identifies and prioritizes proper segmentation of addressable markets through relevant segmentation criteria and customer behaviors to increases proactive lead quality and quantity.
Defines market leadership and value proposition based on addressable markets and sizes markets by product, competitor, and industry trends to ensure profitable growth.
Creates long term planning in terms of volume & revenue to ensure business objectives are met.
Develops one-year business plan and completes on-going analysis of performance to plan and long year.
Executes Communications - Promotional and External
Manages the effectiveness and return on investment of the local PR agency network to ensure the correct cooperation between local and coordination agencies.
Manages public relations activities and promotes company's product/lane/industry targets including SCS, Small Package, and Freight Forwarding to support business plans.
Takes care of internal communications in form of intranet page and internal newsletter to provide an accessible and useful information repository for internal clients.
Identifies and executes Direct Marketing communication program to support achievement of business plan goals.
Develops Marketing Objectives and Strategies
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
Experience in Communications and Brand Strategy of a sizeable multinational service brand.
Has in-depth understanding and a proven track record of executing growth initiatives.
Adapts to changing market condition in diverse markets of India.
Applies Economic Analysis and Forecasting Knowledge.
Good understanding of pricing procedures and mechanics, policies, and systems.
Hands-on experience of revenue management procedures, policies, and systems.
Experience in conducting Competitive Analysis.
Has in-depth understanding of managing complex data and analytics practice.
Educational Qualifications:
MBA Degree or equivalent
Relevant Experience:
Minimum 12-15 years experience.
Must have exposure to P/L impact and to be able to collaborate with cross functional stake holders.
Should have proven track record of leadership position, initiative and managing crisis
Strong Interpersonal skills and command over English Language, Regional Indian languages proficiencies (preferred).
