Job Description:

The Head of Information Technology will lead the Wallace IT department and oversee all IT operations across multiple sites. The ideal candidate, who may currently be at a Senior Manager position, must be a self-starter with practical knowledge & skills in designing and managing nimble, efficient enterprise architecture solutions, involving on-prem, cloud & hybrid applications, databases and storage solutions. The candidate will work closely to manage and collaborate with other functions within the organisation, partners and vendors in the best interest of the organisation to ensure that Wallace IT solution comply with pharmaceutical GxP standards and meet business objectives in the most efficient manner. Proven Project Management skills are important.

Responsibilities:

• Security, up-time and reliability of the company's various systems, applications, SAASapplications and infrastructure.
• Effective management of the IT team across sites and locations, including recruiting, training and managing team performance.
• Effective management of the CAPEX & OPEX IT budget.
• Maintenance relationships with key stakeholders, partners and vendors.
• Drive and manage the implementation of existing and new IT projects.
• Keep up to date with pharmaceutical regulatory requirements relating to pharmaceutical data standards and system design.

Requirements:

• Simple, logical & clear thinker.
• Working knowledge & experience with SAP S4Hana, across modules.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with hands-on knowledge of Pharma GxP practices, standards & solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a track record of building strong relationships with team members, stakeholders, and partners.
• Should have successfully implemented innovative solutions for known company problems.

Qualification: Graduate/ Postgraduate in IT or equivalent Stream
