Responsibilities
i) Strategic Roles and Responsibilities
- Align the strategic objectives, priorities, road maps and goals for the Governance function at the BU with the overall Group Governance strategy
- Support the BU HR Head to formulate plans and strategies to drive People Operations at the business unit
ii) People Operations
- Ensure timely execution of annual activities like leave entitlements, LTA, Medical benefits, hospitalization claims, etc. to facilitate smooth operation
- Ensure payment of termination payments like resignation, retirements etc
- Supervise and maintain records related to employees benefits such as medical, LTA, bonus, maternity records etc.
- Supervise documents and records related to joining formalities like confirmation letters and exit formalities of employees like relieving certificates, service certificates, no dues, covering letter etc.
iii) Governance Frameworks
- Understand the HR governance framework and implement governance systems, processes and control systems within BU aligned to the business unit objectives Continually monitor and ensure adherence to defined governance protocols
iv) Committees and Boards
- Participate in governance committees to share insights from a BU governance perspective
v) Audits
- Verify records and perform HR/Departmental audits regarding necessary compliances to ensure complete compliance
Vi) Data Analysis
- Develop and implement data analyses, data collection systems and other strategies to optimize statistical efficiency and quality
- Create appropriate documentation that allows stakeholders to understand the steps of the data analysis process and duplicate or replicate the analysis if necessary.
Vii) Data Interpretation
- Interpret and research employee data findings to make recommendations to the management.
- Filter data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems
viii) Performance Review
- Implement the mechanism for periodic performance reviews of business unit by using relevant tools, templates/ dashboards and following the steps involved
- Conduct timely reviews of all on-going BU strategic initiatives with the project team
- Arrange and co-ordinate performance reviews as per the pre-determined timelines
ix) HR Analytics
- Implement practices to ensure system usage for workflow, analysis, and reporting; Determine controls to assure data accuracy in the system
- Manage a strategic system of data to accurately analyze and provide timely reports to management to aid decision making (e.g.: Productivity metrics, training metrics, motivation levels, inclination to leave etc.)
- Tap into strategic employee information using data analytics and generate meaningful insights to build interventions to enhance the workforce capability
Qualifications
MBA/MSW with 12-18 years of experience in the field of HR for mid-sized / large organization
Experiences
Rich knowledge and exposure of handling payroll management in large multinational organisation
Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, to successful completion in a fast-paced environment
Experience in developing HR policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance
