Job Overview
Full-time position based in Gurgaon, responsible for leading the global regulatory activities of our agrochemical products. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in regulatory affairs and a strong understanding of global regulatory requirements in the agrochemical industry.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the global regulatory affairs team
- Develop and implement regulatory strategies and policies to ensure compliance with global regulations
- Monitor and analyze changes in regulatory requirements and communicate impact to relevant stakeholders
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of regulatory documents, including dossiers, registrations, and notifications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development and launch activities
- Interact with regulatory authorities and industry associations to stay updated on regulatory trends and advocate for company interests
- Provide guidance and support to internal teams on regulatory matters, including labeling, claims, and product safety
- Manage regulatory inspections and audits, and implement corrective actions as necessary
- Stay abreast of emerging regulatory issues and proactively identify opportunities for process improvements
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory reporting requirements and maintain appropriate documentation
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline, advanced degree preferred
- Minimum 10-15 years of experience in global regulatory affairs for agrochemical products
- In-depth knowledge of global regulatory requirements for agrochemicals especially for Latam America, European Market, APAC, MENA etc.
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and timeliness
- Experience in managing regulatory inspections and audits
- Familiarity with regulatory software and tools
- Ability to adapt to changing regulatory landscapes and prioritize workload accordingly
