This is a full-time on-site role as a Head Chef at Phomo Restaurant located in Jalandhar. The Head Chef will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations, creating menus, managing food preparation, and ensuring quality and consistency in all dishes. They will also collaborate with the restaurant management team to maintain inventory, manage kitchen staff, and ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Head Chef or similar role in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant
Excellent knowledge of culinary techniques, kitchen equipment, and modern cooking methods
Strong leadership and management skills to effectively supervise and motivate kitchen staff
Ability to create innovative and appealing menus that meet customer preferences and dietary requirements
Expertise in food costing, inventory management, and budgeting
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
Creativity and passion for culinary arts
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with the restaurant management team and interact with customers
Culinary degree or equivalent certification is preferred
