Job Description

Head Chef Renowned Restaurant Group with Multiple Outlets Across India. Must have solid experience with European Cuisine.

We're looking for a talented Head Chef to lead our kitchen teams and elevate our culinary offerings to new heights.

Position: Head Chef

Location: India

Industry: Fine Dining/Restaurant Group

Cuisine Specialization: European (French, Italian, Mediterranean, etc.)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead & Inspire: Manage and mentor kitchen teams across various locations, ensuring consistent quality and creativity in every dish.
  • Menu Innovation: Design and develop European-inspired menus, incorporating seasonal ingredients and contemporary twists while staying true to traditional techniques.
  • Quality Control: Oversee food preparation, presentation, and safety standards, maintaining the highest levels of quality and hygiene.
  • Operational Excellence: Manage kitchen operations, inventory, budgeting, and cost control, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of each kitchen.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with management and front-of-house teams to ensure a seamless dining experience for our guests.
  • Training & Development: Foster a culture of continuous learning by training and nurturing kitchen staff, ensuring they stay abreast of new trends and techniques in European cooking.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: At least 5-7 years in a senior kitchen role, with a strong background in European cuisine (French, Italian, Mediterranean, etc.).
  • Leadership: Proven track record of leading and motivating kitchen teams in high-volume, high-end restaurants or hotel environments.
  • Creativity: A passion for innovation in the kitchen, with the ability to create and execute dishes that are both visually stunning and full of flavor.
  • Education: Formal culinary training (Culinary Arts or equivalent) preferred.
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional eye for quality, presentation, and consistency.
