729 Grams Coffee Roasters is an upcoming coffee roasting startup located in Pune, Maharashtra, India. We are opening our first cafe in Pune and offering specialty coffee with a European bakehouse experience. We are looking for individuals and organizations who are interested in working and growing with us.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Head Chef. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily kitchen operations, including recipe creation, food preparation, menu planning, and ensuring food quality and presentation. You will collaborate with the management team to develop new menu items and maintain the highest standards of culinary excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Head Chef or similar role
• Strong knowledge of coffee and bakehouse techniques
• Expertise in menu planning and recipe creation.
• Major experience in Hot Kitchen required.
• Has hands-on experience in crafting burgers, sandwiches, neopolitan pizza, continental food etc.
• Excellent culinary and creative skills
• Ability to lead and manage a team
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in a caf or specialty coffee environment is a plus.
• Degree or diploma in Culinary Arts or a related field is preferred.
