Role: Head Business Finance (Global Supply Organization)

What you become a part of:
The Head of Business Finance will be responsible for driving the financial management, strategies & controls, aligned with the strategic direction of the company. This role will involve working closely with the Chief Financial Officer GSO as well as the GSO Executive team to develop and implement strategies that align with the long-term goals and optimize business performance. The ideal incumbent will have a deep understanding of the pharmaceuticals industry, strong analytical skills, and a proven track record of strategic leadership.
What to expect:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and lead the execution of the companys strategic plan, including long-term and short-term goals, objectives, and initiatives.
- Oversee the development of financial models, budgets, and forecasts. Provide detailed analysis of the P&L and ensure alignment between financial goals and strategic initiatives. Own the business plan and support business in managing fiscal prudence while achieving profitability objectives over the long term, by collecting, interpreting, and reporting financial data, and initiating corrective actions.
- Collaborate with other functional heads to provide consultative support for designing operating plans and reporting KPIs.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor the progress of strategic initiatives. Regularly review and report on the companys performance against strategic goals.
- Lead the preparation of management reports and provide analysis on operations. Provide insightful drivers of performance to senior stakeholders.
- Provide detailed analyses and consultative support related to Make Vs. Buy decisions, as well as the cost structures of the existing portfolio.
Essential qualifications, experience and skills:
- MBA Finance. Additional qualifications such as CA and/or CFA would be an added advantage.
- 15+ years of progressive experience in a multi country, matrix environment preferably in pharmaceuticals/ retail/ consumers goods industry with a minimum of 3 years in a regional/pan-continental finance business partner role.
- Prior exposure to ERP Systems such as MS Navision, SAP is mandatory.
- Exceptional commercial acumen and strategic business insight.
- Excellent consulting and communication skills (oral, written, interpersonal, presentation) with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Strong personal credibility and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusted relationships with senior business leaders and teams alike.
- Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation
