Job Summary:
We're seeking an experienced and skilled Head Barista to lead our coffee team. The successful candidate will oversee daily coffee operations, manage billing and payments, provide exceptional customer service, and ensure a memorable experience for our patrons.
Key Responsibilities:
Service:
- Lead by example and supervise barista staff to ensure excellent customer service and maintain high standards.
- Greet customers, take orders, and prepare/servce specialty coffee drinks.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly.
Billing:
- Manage and process transactions accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and mobile payments.
- Balance cash registers and perform end-of-day reconciliation.
- Monitor and control inventory, minimizing waste and optimizing stock levels.
Coffee Operations:
- Maintain high-quality coffee standards and presentation.
- Develop and maintain coffee menus, promotions, and events.
- Order supplies, manage inventory, and maintain equipment.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Train and mentor junior staff members.
