Roles & Responsibilities
Experience Range: 6 to 8 Years in product design.
Candidate shall have experience in handling multiple end to end product design and release cycles including design, analysis, testing, calibration, regulatory compliances and release of products for commercial deployments.
- Lead and plan all the activities for a hardware product design, the candidate should have experience of releasing minimum 2 to 3 products and have managed the entire product life cycle.
- Candidate shall have experience in product certification for India and global markets, which includes WPC, EMI/EMC, CE, BIS, IEC and EN standards.
- Candidate shall have experience in designing a hardware platform, which have churned out different variants and created a portfolio of products.
- Candidate shall have taken minimum 2 to 3 products through manufacturing line setup, with SOP definition for the end of line and factory acceptance testing.
- Candidate shall have experience on preparing schematics, layout and routing. With hands on experience on tools like Altium, Allegro or Cadence etc
- Candidate shall complete insight on PCB manufacturing process, material and finish choices for Industrial products
- Candidate shall have first-hand experience on defining and performing the engineering and design verification / validation at the board level.
- Candidate shall possess strong design experience on high speed digital design, analog design and three phase power supply design.
- Candidate shall be a problem solver, and should have experience on debugging at the board level and also train junior team members.
- Candidate shall have experience on designing RF boards, and should have taken it through necessary certifications meeting regulatory requirements.
- Candidate shall have experience on taking products through thermal analysis, SI, PI and reliability testing and incorporating findings into design.
- Candidate shall have experience in designing SOM boards, handling eMMC, DDR4 and designed complex 6 layer boards
- Candidate should be comfortable with test equipment's like digital oscilloscope, spectrum analysers, vector analysers etc.
- Candidate shall be able to analyze the design and undertake BOM reduction projects.
- Candidate shall have experience working with vendors, consultants and FAE's from the OEMs and their respective distributors
- Candidate shall have exposure to product mechanicals and hardware side interdependencies.
- Candidate shall have experience of designing battery operated products, which got commercially deployed
- Candidate shall have experience of handling and grooming a small team of experts coming from different areas of expertise.
