hardware and networking engineer

We are looking for a skilled hardware and networking engineer with experience as a system administrator in a stock broking company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and improving the performance of our client's computer systems and networks.

Responsibilities:

Install, configure and maintain hardware and software systems and networks.

Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as needed.

Manage and maintain servers, switches, routers, and other networking equipment.

Ensure the security and integrity of the network and data.

Develop and implement disaster recovery plans.

Provide technical support to end-users and train staff on system use.

Conduct regular system audits to ensure compliance with industry standards.

Collaborate with other IT professionals to improve network performance and security.

Keep up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in hardware and networking.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or a related field.

At least 5 years of experience as a hardware and networking engineer, with specific experience as a system administrator in a stock broking company.

Strong knowledge of network protocols, routing, and switching.

Hands-on experience with server hardware, virtualization, and storage.

Experience with disaster recovery and business continuity planning.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
