Overview of Role
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced GWS Deployment lead to join our team. As a GWS Deployment lead, you will be responsible for Lead technical discussions with customer executives that drive decisions and implementation providing recommendations aligned to Google and 66degrees best practices yet tailored for each client's needs, Lead, implement, and support Google Workspace deployments and migrations, Configure and manage Cloud Platform services and APIs.
Responsibilities
- Project proposal scoping/writing and presentations
- Set and manage client expectations and proactively address issues as they arise
- Lead, implement, and support Google Workspace deployments and migrations.
- Lead technical discussions with customer executives that drive decisions and implementation providing recommendations aligned to Google and 66degrees best practices yet tailored for each client's needs
- Configure and manage Cloud Platform services and APIs
- Provide insight for technical procedures and documentation for customer
- Identity new business opportunities with project engagements that will help organizations take advantage of Google Cloud technologies.
- Demonstrate ability to confidently understand and apply a broad range of technology platforms and solutions architectures on client engagements, with an emphasis on Google Cloud and Google Workspace
- Collaborate with key resources including engineers, support, operations, salespeople, marketing and partners
- Differentiate 66degrees products and services from our competitors by positioning yourself as the market and industry expert you know you are
- Coach and mentor our customers and deployment team to ensure alignment with project goals and success criteria
- Point of contact for escalations for mid to large client engagements
- Ability to travel to client sites as needed and requested
Qualifications
- Prior Google Workspace deployment and/or administration experience
- Google Deployment Specialist Certification or ability to acquire within first 30 days
- Google Collaboration Engineer certification, or ability to obtain this certification within 30 days
- Data Migration Experience with CloudM, MoveBot, BitTitan, ShareGate. Experience with other migration tools.
- Extensive experience with security (zero trust) and networking in cloud environments
- Strong technical expertise in the architecture, design, and implementation of cloud-based tools and platforms that foster productivity and collaboration.
- Extensive experience in Powershell and GAM scripting and Demonstrated experience with Microsoft & Google APIs
- Knowledge of technology solutions and ability to learn emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the Productivity & Collaboration/IT technology space.
- Ability to work cross-functionally, engage and influence audiences.
- Excellent organizational skills and customer-facing communication.
- This role requires you to work in North American Hours and needs to bit flexible as per the business needs.
- Proficiency in documentation and knowledge transfer using remote meetings, written documents, and technical diagrams slide decks.
