- BE/B.Tech or M.E / M.Tech in Thermal Systems or Mechatronics engineering or similar
- Several years of leadership experience, including the line management positions.
- Several years of experience in product development within the automotive industry
- Experience in the field of Thermal Management system engineering
- Experience with thermal management hardware development like Heat Exchangers, Fans, Pumps, Compressors, Valves
- Experience with Agile way of working and product life cycle management.
- Experience with Data based system and hardware development.
- Experience with Thermal Management system Verification/Validation virtual/physical
- Good knowledge of Truck / Car complex systems and Thermal Management (ICE-BEV-Fuel cell drivelines, cab climate)
- Experience working in a global environment with several sites and external partners.
Role And Responsibilities
In this role as a Group manager - Thermal Supply Hardware , you will fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Strategy Management : Part of the TM TS (Thermal Supply) section leadership team to drive section and TM sub-stream strategies of system and hardware .
- Innovation : Drive innovation related to Advanced engineering, Patent, Cost improvement and method development.
- Budget Management : Contribute & secure the TM budget by providing accurate inputs to TM TS section budgeting.
- Process Implementation : Implement TM enablers and ensure smooth flow between groups, securing effective cross-section working groups
- Issue Resolution : Address roadblocks that have not been resolved at the team member level.
- People Management: Foster the growth and development of your team members through an innovation culture and fun place to work.
- Competency Management: Strategize the competency needs of current and future, secure it through internal and external collaboration.
- Workforce Planning: Plan and implement workforce strategies (internal/external) to meet capacity needs.
- Collaboration : Maintain and develop networks within GTT Thermal teams as well as other GTX teams across.
- Digital Transformation : Contribute to our Thermal Management Sub-Stream Digital Transformation (Roadmap and Implementation) .
- Thermal supply hardware Lead and Own on all hardware components under full vehicle thermal management with both coolant and refrigerant fluids within the groups responsibility and also support the other hardware groups within TS section as needed.
