The Role:
The role of a Group Account Manager would be an involving one, wherein you would be directly in charge of a team of Account Managers for multiple clients. One can expect to be in charge of broad-level digital marketing and creative strategy for clients, as well as direct/indirect interfacing with the clients and their teams. You will be in charge of the management of the accounts teams and their efficient execution of strategies for social media, digital marketing, media planning and buying, creative content strategy, and content production.
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining updated knowledge of clients industry, competition, strategy and goals, and product offerings
- Identifying Industry trends and analyzing digital assets of competitors in order to ascertain best practices and improvise implementation of similar advantage
- Build, Drive and Superhead teams of up to 5-6 Account Managers
- Planning a long-term, objective-driven strategy and KPIs for all your accounts
- Overlooking weekly activities of the account, such as posting, engagement, ad management, and growth hacking
- Lead multiple project/brand(s) simultaneously, ensure optimum delivery and strong integration across the organization
- Spearhead the content calendar, targeting the different customer personas
- Oversee management of the creative process for digital media-specific design assets and intervene in the Creative Team efforts as required to ensure that strong marketing standard methodologies are being met.
- Managing, assigning tasks to, and appraising Account Managers who are part of your team
- Interfacing with the Client on a monthly/bi-monthly basis to communicate performance, monthly plans, and updates
- Ensuring smooth collaboration with design and production teams to facilitate the requirements
- Identifying and activating third party vendors as and when needed
Qualifications, Experience and Skills required:
- A bachelor's degree in Mass Media, Communication, Marketing, Advertising, or other relevant subjects
- At least 4 years of prior work experience at a creative/marketing agency or digital marketing wing of a company
- Adaptability and strong problem solving/ crisis management skills
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to collect, track, and analyze large amounts of marketing-related data
- Excellent active listening skills
- Ability to build rapport and collaborate with others within the company and externally
- Ability to solely represent the organization and its work to multiple clients
