The ideal candidate will have strong creative skills and a portfolio of work which demonstrates their passion for illustrative design and typography. This candidate will have experiences in working with numerous different design platforms such as digital and print forms.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the team to ensure consistency of designs across various media outlets
- Create compelling and effective logos, designs, print and digital media
- Maintain awareness of current industry and technology standards, social media, competitive landscape and market trendsCollaborate, brainstorm, and strategize with multiple teams or clients for a wide range of materials that may include web pages, presentations, collateral design, signage, internal communication designing, newsletters, and marketing materials.
- Translate strategic direction into high-quality design within an established brand identity.
- Develop concepts by hand or with software, and execute original content determining ideal usage of color, text, font style, imagery, and layout.
- Manage the design and uploading process of all project material, understanding best practices for using a content management system.
- Use trend intelligence and an understanding of the current and historical business and market to design and execute specific classifications.
- Planning concepts by studying relevant information and materials.
- Preparing finished art by operating necessary equipment and software.
- Coordinating with the marketing and external customer for art services, web designer, marketing, printers, and colleagues as necessary.
- Contributing to team efforts by accomplishing tasks as needed.
- Communicating with clients about layout and design.
- Creating a wide range of graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos, and websites with software such as photoshop, Corel Draw, InDesign and Some Knowledge of PremierPro and After Effect.
- Reviewing final layouts and suggesting improvements when necessary.
Qualifications
Proven graphic designing experience
A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics
Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as InDesign, illustrator, CorelDraw, Photoshop)
A keen eye for aesthetics and details
Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
Degree in Design, Fine Arts or related field is a plus
