Responsibilities:- Edit high-quality videos for our YouTube channel, ensuring they align with our brand and target audience.
- Collaborate with the content team to conceptualize and storyboard video ideas that meet our objectives.
- Use video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) to assemble raw footage into polished videos, incorporating music, sound effects, graphics, and visual effects as needed.
- Ensure videos are edited according to established style guidelines, maintaining consistency in branding and messaging.
- Edit shots for different projects, including promotional videos and social media content adhering to project requirements and deadlines.
- Work closely with the Creative Director and other team members to brainstorm ideas, provide input, and contribute to the creative process.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in video editing techniques, software, and technology, continuously improving skills and workflows.
- Manage and organize video assets, maintaining an efficient file structure and backup system for easy access and retrieval.
- Collaborate with other team members, including videographers, graphic designers, and content creators, to ensure seamless integration of video content across various platforms.
- Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Video Editor or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing creative video editing skills and projects.
- Proficiency in video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
- Excellent understanding of video editing techniques, including pacing, storytelling, and visual aesthetics.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate ideas and collaborate with team members.
- Attention to detail and a keen eye for visual composition, colour grading, and motion graphics.
- Knowledge of current trends in video content, social media platforms, and digital marketing.
- Bachelor's degree in film production, digital media, or a related field is preferred but not required.
