Graphic Designer

House of Spices (HOS) is a deeply rooted brand within the food industry, leading the specialty food and ingredient category for over 50 years. Fast-forward from its start as a homegrown family business, House of Spices has become a middle-market wholesale/manufacturer which includes multiple distribution networks across the country. Although the business has and continues to expand rapidly, the brand is still family-owned and home-based out of the NYC metro area. The Graphic Designer is responsible for performing Graphic Designer duties on a professional level and works closely with House of Spices Inc., Marketing Team, Purchase and staff in supporting designated geographic regions. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas of House of Spices Inc., India: Responsible for creating branding, sales and marketing collateral for HOS this could include corporate brochures, posters, signage, logos etc.

Essential Functions

• Create and design various materials for print and digital collateral using graphic design tools including design software
• Developing concepts, graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos and websites
• Selecting colors, fonts, photographs, layouts and other design elements to communicate creative concepts
• Liaising with external printers on a regular basis to ensure deadlines are met and material is printed to the highest quality.
• Working with other team members to deliver projects and activity to deliver against deadlines
