Overview
The Graphic Designer plays a crucial role in our organization by creating visual concepts to inspire, inform, and captivate consumers. They will collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to understand business objectives, conceptualize designs, and create engaging graphics that communicate complex ideas in a simple and visually appealing manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Create visual aspects of marketing materials, websites, and other media, including infographics, social media graphics, and logos
- Translate marketing objectives into creative strategies and design concepts
- Collaborate with copywriters, marketing team, and stakeholders to understand their needs and align design with strategic goals
- Design and develop layouts for product illustrations, company logos, and websites with a strong eye for branding
- Use digital illustration, photo editing software, and layout software to create designs
- Think creatively to produce new ideas and concepts, and develop interactive design
- Present design concepts to stakeholders and incorporate feedback into the final design
- Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand
- Stay current with emerging technologies in new media, particularly design programs
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and maintain consistent branding
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Graphic Design or related field
- Proven work experience as a Graphic Designer or similar role
- Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio
- Proficiency with industry-leading software and technologies, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
- Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics and visual composition
- Understanding of marketing, production, website design, corporate identity, product packaging, advertisements, and multimedia design
- Up-to-date with the latest trends, techniques, and technologies in graphic design
- Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus
