Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Graphic Designer at Diamond Parks. The Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating graphics, designing logos, and branding. Typography skills are also required for this role.
- Brand Development: Collaborate with the marketing team and park management to develop and maintain a strong visual brand identity for the water park. This includes designing logos, colour schemes, typography, and other brand elements that reflect the park's theme and values.
- Marketing Collateral: Create visually appealing marketing materials such as posters, flyers, brochures, banners, and digital advertisements to promote park events, special offers, and attractions. Ensure consistency in branding across all marketing channels.
- Digital Design: Design engaging digital assets for the water park's website, social media platforms, email newsletters, and mobile apps. This may involve creating graphics, illustrations, animations, and other multimedia content to attract and engage online audiences.
- Signage and Wayfinding: Design signage and wayfinding solutions throughout the park to guide guests, communicate important information, and enhance their overall experience. This could include directional signs, safety instructions, ride descriptions, and facility maps.
- Merchandise Design: Develop designs for merchandise items sold at the park's gift shops, including apparel, souvenirs, accessories, and collectables. Ensure that merchandise designs align with the park's branding and appeal to its target audience.
- Event Promotion: Design promotional materials for special events, concerts, festivals, and themed weekends hosted by the water park. Create event posters, social media graphics, digital ads, and promotional videos to generate excitement and attract visitors.
- Photography and Videography: Capture high-quality photographs and videos of park attractions, guests, and events for use in marketing materials and promotional campaigns. Edit and enhance multimedia content to maintain visual consistency and professionalism.
- Environmental Design: Contribute to the visual enhancement of the park's physical environment by designing murals, signage, theming elements, and decorative installations that enhance the overall aesthetic and atmosphere.
- Print Production Coordination: Liaise with external vendors, printers, and suppliers to oversee the production process of printed materials and merchandise items. Ensure that designs are reproduced accurately and meet quality standards.
- Creative Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, operations, guest services, and retail to ensure that design projects align with strategic objectives and meet stakeholder requirements.
- Trend Research and Innovation: Stay informed about current design trends, industry best practices, and emerging technologies relevant to the entertainment and hospitality sectors. Continuously seek opportunities to innovate and elevate the park's visual communication strategies.
