Job Description

BANGALORE SCHOOL OF INTERIOR DESIGN is looking for Graphic Design faculty to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our Art and Design Department as a Graphic Design Faculty member. This position involves teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses in graphic design, contributing to curriculum development, mentoring students, and engaging in professional and scholarly activities.

Key Responsibilities

Teaching:
- Deliver high-quality instruction in graphic design courses, including but not limited to typography, branding, digital media, UX/UI design, and design theory.
- Develop and update course syllabi, assignments, projects, and exams.
- Utilize innovative teaching methods and technologies to enhance student learning.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to students.
Curriculum Development:
- Participate in the development and revision of the graphic design curriculum.
- Collaborate with faculty to ensure curriculum aligns with industry standards and emerging trends.
Advising and Mentoring:
- Advise and mentor students on academic, career, and professional development matters.
- Supervise student projects, internships, and independent studies.
Professional Development and Scholarly Activity:
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with industry trends and advancements.
- Conduct research and/or creative work in the field of graphic design.
- Participate in exhibitions, conferences, and publications.
Service and Collaboration:
- Participate in department, college, and university committees and initiatives.
- Foster relationships with industry partners and community organizations.
- Contribute to the promotion and development of the Art and Design Department.
